Family Portraits

They are not always pretty…
Our tormentor: mother pounds her fist upon the table as father stands nearby with firm resolution.
This piece is also inspired by Max Beckman. I sit with mouth bound, centered on this canvas. My brother, a victim and also my tormenter, sits besides me. We know not what is to come.
