Reflections of Hermosa- A Mosaic in Time
“Hang Twenty” Surfin’ Hermosa 2004

This juried art show was a fund raiser for the Hermosa Beach Education Foundation. Twenty local artists were selected to decorate a 6′ surf board. The boards debuted at the Gallery C opening, were on display in Hermosa Beach businesses for 1 month, then auctioned for funds and now reside in personal collections.

My concept was to “reflect the color of the community.”

I covered the entire board, all sides, with 1/4″ mirrored tile.
