Race Artwork

The graphic images below were created for ocean race organizations.

This poster uses the Paddle Beast from Silverback Hawaii as a pattern for the background. They requested a very logo forward design.

This poster uses the H from Hanohano as a pattern for the background. The dolphin represents the many crafts used in the race. The hands represent paddleboarders, the paddles in the tail represent SUPs and OC-1s, and the 6 paddles in the body represent the 6-man outrigger canoes.

The poster has many of the same elements of the Catalina Classic Paddleboard Race t-shirt design below.
I created this image to represent the vibe at the start of the Catalina Classic Paddleboard Race.

This graphic image was used by the Hanohano Crystal Pier Race for clothing, posters and awards.

Community Art Projects

I look for ways to connect.

“Boards Across Hermosa 2022”
was a Leadership Hermosa Beach project to beautify the city and connect the community by having artist decorate donated surfboards to celebrate Hermosa Beach.

This graphic was created in collaboration with the entrepreneur for her new business.
This piece is the companion for the graphic and business above.

More Stuff

This piece celebrates El Segundo Beach and a spectacular Water Woman.

This image, made from a photo taken by Capt. Bill Kindle, captures a favorite memory while patrolling the 2016 Catalina Classic Paddleboard Race.

The famous Endless Summer poster by John Van Hamersveld was the inspiration for my creation- the D-Basin Bombers poster in 2011. That’s me in front with my husband near far and Coastal Eddie far right.

The F Flag has a lot of meaning for me. When I was a child, if my parents wanted me to come back to the boat, they would run the “F” Flag up the mast. I took the “F” Flag, and added a couple lines and made the “F” Flag a personal logo.

The Dance Series

Celebrating the creatures of the sea and their friendly interactions.
